No. 16 Drake 71, No. 8 Butler 64

INDIANAPOLIS — Josh Young scored a career-high 25 points, including three free throws when he was fouled on a 3-point attempt with 20 seconds to go. Drake (24-3) snapped a nine-game winning streak for Butler (25-3), which led by four points midway through the second half but went scoreless for almost five minutes during a decisive 9-0 run by Drake. Jonathan Cox added 13 points and Leonard Houston had 12 for Drake, which got its first non-conference victory over a Top 25 team since 1980. Matt Howard finished with 16 points for Butler.

Cleveland St. 59, Marist 44

CLEVELAND — J’Nathan Bullock scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and Cleveland State ended the game on a 13-0 run. Norris Cole and Cedric Jackson chipped in with 10 points apiece for the Vikings (19-11). No Marist player scored in double figures as the Red Foxes only hit 30 percent of their shots from the field. Ryan Stilphen had nine points and 10 rebounds.

Bowling Green 81, Detroit 65

DETROIT — Brian Moten scored 18 points and Joe Jakubowski added a career-best 17 to lead Bowling Green past Detroit. Jakubowski scored six points during a 12-4 run early in the second half that gave the Falcons (12-14) a double-digit lead for good. Chris Hayes had a career-high 22 points and Michael Harrington and Tryl Hartfield each added 11 for the Titans (7-20), who lost their school-record 10th game at Calihan Hall this season. Detroit’s Jon Goode, the Horizon League’s leading scorer at 19.3 points per game, missed the game and is day-to-day after injuring his knee Wednesday at Wright State. Nate Miller scored 13 points and Chris Knight added 12 points and 11 rebounds for Bowling Green.

Loyola (Chicago) 71, William & Mary 66

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Tracy Robinson scored 20 points, Justin Cerasoli added 18 as Loyola outlasted William & Mary. J.R. Blount added 16 points for Loyola (11-16). Danny Sumner had 18 points and nine rebounds for William & Mary (14-13). Peter Stein added 14 points and John Sexton scored 11.
