Instead of talking incessantly about the sport, golf fans have the option of letting their home decor do some of the talking.

Recently seen at the 2008 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla., were items for the home as well as the links.

Here’s a sample:

UBig Daddy Driver (above), by Big Daddy Golf, is a golf club that looks like a driver but has a battery-powered string trimmer inside the club head. It allows golf fans to practice their swings while trimming weeds. Dimensions and appearance are similar to most oversized golf drivers. Cost is $59.95 and includes batteries. UClubhouse Design offered items such as the classic armchair, the classic table and the Illumina lamp. Handcrafted from heavy-gauge tubing and solid steel and a powder-coated chrome finish, the chair has a contoured wood seat with a cherry-stain finish and crafted cast-aluminum club-head feet. The chair back and arms are made from Lamkin club grips. The floor lamp, hand-crafted with the same materials as the chair, is for indoor use only and comes with either a rice or suede shade. Both the floor lamp and the classic table’s feet are made with real persimmon golf heads. Cost is $419 for the chair; $279.99 for the table; and $299.99 for the lamp.
