Fishing season opening in Mill Creek MetroParks

Fishing season on Lakes Glacier and Newport and the shorelines of Yellow Creek in Yellow Creek Park opens March 1.

Private boats may be used on Lakes Glacier and Newport between 6:30 a.m. and dark; shoreline fishing is permitted from 5 a.m. to dark. All boats must comply with MetroParks regulations, and an Ohio fishing license is required.
