Boardman going back to regional

ALLIANCE — Courtney Schiffauer scored 20 points and Darryce Moore had 19, leading Boardman to a 52-46 victory over Canton McKinley in the girls Division I district basketball championship game at Alliance High School Saturday.

The win put the Spartans in the regional tournament for the fourth time in eight years; Boardman will play either Akron Kenmore or Green Tuesday at 6:15 at the Canton Civic Center in a regional semifinal.
