Hartford-native looks to move up in NASCAR

Sunday: Hartford-native Dave Blaney was running in the top 10 at the Daytona 500 before he was nudged from behind by Kevin Harvick and sent into the outside wall during four-wide racing on lap 189. It brought out the sixth caution of the day and the result was Blaney’s 38th-place finish in the Caterpillar Toyota.
This weekend: Blaney and the rest of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will head west to California Speedway in Fontana for the Auto Club 500 Sunday.
