Craft vendors sought for Caleb Cope benefit

SALEM — A day of raging wheels and crafts has been planned for May 4 and will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Quaker City Drag Strip as a benefit for Caleb Cope and his family.

Caleb was injured in a golf-cart accident last July. Proceeds will help provide home renovations for the young man’s bedroom, make the home wheelchair accessible and go toward the purchase of a van with a wheelchair lift.

Vendors can rent a 10x20-foot space for $25, and will be asked to donate one item valued at a minimum of $25 for a Chinese auction. To reserve space or for more information, contact Jodi Bussard at (330) 482-3296 after 5 p.m. or Deb Placer at Lamplight Gifts at (330) 482-2330.
