Columbiana Co. courthouse phones, computers up and working

LISBON — Computers and phones are working again at the Columbiana County courthouse.

The county commissioners’ office made the announcement at 9:03 a.m. today.

Phones and part of the computer system were down for six hours Wednesday.

Computers connected to the clerk of courts offices were down, but computers on another system, such as the county auditor’s office, were working at least part of the time Wednesday.

The release from the commissioners office attributed the outage to “hardware failure.” No details were provided.

Tod Mumpire, who oversees the county’s computer systems, could not be reached.
