Boardman girls knock off Hoover

Darryce Moore scored 20 points, leading Boardman to a 38-37 victory over Federal League and tournament rival North Canton Hoover in the semifinals of the Divison I district tournament at Alliance High School. Boardman led by as many as 15 points in the fourth quarter before Hoover made a big comeback. The Spartans rebounded a missed shot at the buzzer to earn the win.
