Actress Christine Lahti, first Lady Frances Strickland here to stump for Clinton

Another award-winning actress is coming to Youngstown today to support a Democratic presidential candidate.

This time it’s Christine Lahti, a Hillary Rodham Clinton supporter, who will be at Anthony’s On The River, 15 Oak Hill Ave. in Youngstown at 8 p.m. She’ll be on hand to watch Clinton and Barack Obama’s debate from Texas. Also at Anthony’s will be Ohio first lady Frances Strickland, U.S. Rep. Diane Watson of California and Betsy Ebeling, a Clinton friend since childhood.

Lahti won an Academy Award in 1995, as well as an Emmy and two Golden Globes.

Lahti’s visit comes a day after Alfre Woodard visited Warren and Youngstown to stump for Obama.
