Snapz gains followers

We’re already getting submissions for our upcoming snapz reader participation photo pages.

People are sending us pictures of their pets with personality, baby shots and many other categories.

We’ll be publishing the pets pictures first, so if you’ve got a favorite pet photo, particularly funny, touching or downright crazy pictures of those fabulous animals, send them along.

The e-mail address is features@vindy.com. Make sure to include your name and contact information, the name of your pet and any other info you think is pertinent.

Larger files are appreciated for photos, because newspaper reproduction requires them. (Smaller ones may show up in the Web galleries, but they can’t be used in The Vindicator.)

Here are the categories:

Pets with personality: Dogs, cats, gerbils, whatever your pet. Send us shots that show what’s special about the animal in your life.

Baby talk: Cute is good. Amazing is better. We want to see the real-deal youngsters.

Pride in rides: Sure, folks love their cars, but how often do they show off that pride?

Great gardeners: We want to see folks who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

Send us your best, in whatever category, and watch for your photos to appear in The Vindicator.
