ODOT says avoid U.S. Route 62 in Green Twp. after accident

GREEN — U.S. Route 62, just south of state Route 165 (West South Range Road), is closed until about 7 tonight while officials clear the area of a loaded semi-truck that crashed into a ditch at about 1:55 p.m. today.

The site of the crash is located between West Middletown Road on the north, West Pine Lake Road on the south, state Route 45 on the west, and Beaver Creek Road on the east.

The Ohio Department of Transportation advises motorists to find an alternate route. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was still on the scene at 4 p.m. It is unknown if other vehicles were involved, or if there were serious injuries.
