Marcus Hall had 15 points for Colorado (10-14, 2-8), which has lost nine of its last 11. Roby, the 6-foot-6 senior who had averaged 18 points in three games at Allen Fieldhouse and had a 30-point effort here last season, was guarded mostly by Darrell Arthur. He missed his first seven shots and wound up 1-of-11 from the field.

Tennessee (23-2, 10-1) has won eight straight in the series with Georgia (12-11, 3-7), including a sweep of this season’s two games. Sundiatta Gaines led Georgia with 23 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. Terrance Woodbury added 14 points but missed two 3-pointers in the final minute.

North Carolina shot 50 percent and held a 54-24 rebounding advantage, while its defense held Virginia Tech to 26 percent shooting. Malcolm Delaney scored 20 points for the Hokies (14-11, 5-6), who have lost three straight games.
