Local achievements for February 18


MEDICINE

Dr. Nick Kreatsoulas of Poland has been appointed vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer for Humility of Mary Health Partners. He earned his bachelor’s of business administration degrees in computer science and business management from Kent State University and a doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kreatsoulas had been the medical director of case management at St. Elizabeth Health Center and St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Dr. Brian Gruber of New Castle, Pa., has been appointed director of trauma services at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Dr. Gruber earned his bachelor of science degree from the University of Akron and his medical doctor degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. His appointment is in addition to his duties as a trauma and critical care surgeon at St. Elizabeth.

Cindy Anderson of Columbiana has been appointed regional director of patient financial services for Humility of Mary Health Partners. Anderson earned her bachelor of science in accounting from Franciscan University of Steubenville. She had been director of patient financial services for Trinity Health System in Steubenville.

BANKING

First Place Financial Corp. has named David Gifford as chief financial officer for the corporation and its subsidiary First Place Bank. Gifford had been interim chief financial officer since September. He previously was principal accounting officer for First Place Bank. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio State University.

FINANCE

Butler Wick Private Client Group has appointed Elizabeth Wellman-Hartwig of Canfield and Matt Morgan of Austintown to be vice presidents. Both are partners in The Downard/Belleville Group in the firm’s Canfield office. Wellman-Hartwig has been a financial advisor with Butler Wick for 10 years. She is a graduate of Youngstown State University. Morgan joined Butler Wick in 2000 upon graduating from Youngstown State University.

LAW

WARREN — Harrington, Hoppe & Mitchell said attorney Jess Enyeart of Niles has joined the firm in its Warren office. Enyeart holds a law degree from the Case Western Reserve University, a master’s degree in business administration from Case and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Youngstown State University.

ACCOUNTING

Dan Wolf of Carbis Walker has been promoted to senior manager. He is a member of the health care services team, which mainly works from the firm’s New Castle office. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Washington & Jefferson College.
