No. 7 LSU 78, No. 1 Tennessee 62

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Sylvia Fowles had 17 points and 14 rebounds and LSU grabbed the Southeastern Conference lead. LSU (21-3, 9-0 SEC) remained the only SEC team without a conference loss. Fowles led a balanced offensive attack for the Lady Tigers. Erica White added 16 points, Quianna Chaney had 14 points, RaShonta LeBlanc had 11 and Ashley Thomas and Allison Hightower both added 10. Candace Parker led Tennessee (22-2, 8-1) with 26 points and had 10 rebounds. Nicky Anosike had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

No. 4 Maryland 78, Boston College 51

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Marah Strickland scored a career-high 20 points and Maryland cruised over Boston College. The victory was the fourth straight for the Terrapins (26-2, 10-1 Atlantic Coast Conference), while the Eagles (17-8, 5-5) suffered their third straight loss. Maryland, which had made just 24 percent of its 3-pointers over the previous five games, made 11 of 22 3-point attempts. Strickland scored 14 first half points and made all five of her 3-pointers. Boston College was led by Carolyn Swords and Stefanie Murphy, who scored 10 points each. The Eagles were plagued by 20 turnovers, leading to 26 Maryland points. Kristi Toliver added 12 points for Maryland and Ashleigh Newman had 15.

No. 13 Old Dominion 83, Northeastern 46

NORFOLK, Va. — Megan Pym had 19 points and nine rebounds to lead Old Dominion to its 15th consecutive victory. The Lady Monarchs (21-3, 12-0 Colonial Athletic Association) led 43-21 at the half and never trailed, keeping Northeastern to 34.5 percent shooting for the game. The Huskies (7-15, 2-10) allowed 42 points off 28 turnovers and trailed Old Dominion by as many as 42 points — 81-39 — with 4:05 to play after a jumper by Jen Nuzzo. Tiffany Green and T.J. Jordan each added 16 points for the Lady Monarchs. Shaleyse Smallwood led Northeastern with 16 points and Kendra Walton added 10.

No. 25 Vanderbilt 66, Kentucky 49

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Christina Wirth scored 20 points to lead Vanderbilt over Kentucky. The victory moved the Commodores two games in front of the Wildcats for third place in the Southeastern Conference. A 14-0 run to open the second half gave Vanderbilt (19-6 overall, 8-2 SEC), a lead it would not relinquish. Kentucky (12-12, 6-4) led 25-19 at halftime. Chelsea Chowning led Kentucky with 14 points. The Wildcats shot 32 percent from the field in the second half. A 9-0 run to close the first half gave Kentucky its halftime advantage before Vanderbilt rallied. Wirth and Merideth Marsh made 3-pointers in the early second-half flurry. The Wildcats tied the game at 33 on a 3-pointer by Chelsea with 12:05 remaining. The Commodores went ahead for good with an 8-0 run, pushing the lead to 41-33 with 9:45 left. Vanderbilt shot 53.3 percent in the second half. Jennifer Risper added 15 points and eight rebounds for Vanderbilt.
