Canton McKinley 64, East 36

ALLIANCE — Brittany Taylor finished her outstanding career with 26 points for the Panthers (9-12). Brianna Williams led McKinley with 13 points, while Sarah Milligan added 11 and Porsche Poole 10. The Bulldogs (18-3) advanced to a sectional final Saturday at 2:30 p.m. against Louisville, which defeated Massillon 59-28 in Thursday’s other game.

Howland 63, Maple Heights 29

SOLON — Alexa Williams scored 22 points and Kelly Barzak 21 as Howland won in the Division I sectional tournament final at Solon High gym. Williams also had 19 rebounds and four assists and Barzak 14 rebounds while Alloie Airhart contributed eight points and three steals to aid the Tigers (19-3). Howland advanced to a district semifinal next Thursday at Solon at 6 p.m. against Brecksville, which eliminated Warren Harding in the other sectional final Thursday at Solon. Clarisa Jones scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds while Tierra Rouse added eight points to lead Maple Heights (14-7).

Brecksville 51, Warren Harding 43

SOLON — Shawna Cargill scored 19 points, including three 3-point goals, to lead Brecksville, which advanced to a district semifinal next Thursday at 6 p.m. against Howland at Solon High. Courtney Clark added nine points with four assists to aid Brecksville Aundrea Baldridge had 10 points and eight rebounds and Kamela Bender 10 points and three assists to lead Harding (15-7), while Jasmine Kirkland also had 10 points and Courtney Clark nine.

Richmond Heights 95, Badger 30

ASHTABULA — Richmond Heights took a 22-4 lead in the first quarter and and it was in command 48-19 at halftime of the Division III sectional tournament game at Lakeside High School. Ariel Bovie , Co-co Williams and Brittani Journea sparked Richmond Heights with 27, 25 and 22 points respectively. Kelsi Kramer paced Badger (2-19) with 11 points.
