Program to feature life of famous writer

KINSMAN — Kinsman Historical Society will present a program on the life of Edmond Hamilton, a famous science fiction writer, at 7:30 p.m. March 4 at Kinsman Presbyterian Church on Church Street.

Known as the World Wrecker, Hamilton wrote and was involved with Superman and Batman comic books from the ’40s to the ’60s, developed many DC comic superheroes and was an early writer of space opera. He lived most of his adult life in Kinsman, and his friends and relatives will serve as presenters at the program.
