LOUIE TODAY: U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy

Louie Free, Vindy.com's news radio partner, will interview Ted Kennedy, longtime U.S. Senator from Massachusetts and recently declared Barack Obama supporter, on today's show, "Brainfood From the Heartland."

Kennedy is in Youngstown today to stump for Obama, his Senate colleague from Illinois. The visit comes just weeks after Kennedy and his neice, Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, announced they're backing Obama. Caroline even compared Obama to her own father, John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in '63 during his first term in office, just days before her 6th birthday.

But three younger members of the politically powerful family — Kathleen, Robert and Kerry — countered with their own declaration of support for Obama's Democratic opponent, U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York.

With less than a month till Ohio's March 4 primaries, the show promises to provide a lively discussion of the this year's race to the White House. Tune in, or even get a glimpse of the show, from Louie's new street-front studio just off Central Square, downtown Youngstown.
