Bethany 78, Grove City 61

BETHANY, W. Va. — Joe Testa had 14 points and 13 rebounds, and Tyler Morando scored 17 points for the Bison (15-8, 9-1 Presidents’ Athletic Conference). Brody Jackson and Ryan Besancon scored 13 points each for Bethany, which led 35-22 at halftime. Jonas Ankrom finished with 11 points, Carey Palermo (Ursuline) had three and Marcus Adams had nine assists. Kris Verderber led Grove City (14-8, 7-3) with 17 points.

Saint Vincent 81, Thiel 77

GREENVILLE, Pa. — Ian McCollough scored 22 points for Saint Vincent (19-3). Joey Butler added 21 points, while B.J. McGill added 12 and Mike Medved had 11. Joe Herrmann scored 24 points and had six rebounds to lead Thiel (9-12) in both categories. Devon Adams added 19 points and Tommy Hall (Campbell) finished with 15 points and five rebounds for the Tomcats, who led 40-36 at halftime and lost despite shooting 63 percent (29-of-46) for the game.

Geneva 95, Waynesburg 62

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — Bryan Hill scored 23 points, while Justin Nardi added 17, to lead Geneva (11-11), which snapped a four-game losing streak. Greg McDivitt finished with 11 points and seven rebounds for the Golden Tornadoes. Tim Drakeley scored 11 points to lead Waynesburg (8-14).

Capital 80, Mount Union 68

ALLIANCE — Jake Fanning had 16 points and seven rebounds to lead Capital (19-3, 14-1), which clinched at least a share of the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season championship. Ryan Wood and Steve Kyser added 10 points each for the Crusaders, who led 39-30 at halftime. Chris Crawford scored 20 points for Mount Union (8-14, 5-10), while Chris Switzer added 19 and Sam King (Brookfield) 11.

Allegheny 80, Hiram 76

MEADVILLE, Pa. — George Raftis led Allegheny with 16 points and four other players reached double figures for the Gators (11-11, 6-7) in the North Coast Athletic Conference game. Craig Devinney had 11 points, while Ben Torsney, Bill Babe and Charlie Jaicks scored 10 apiece. Mike Staley of Hiram (7-15, 4-9) led all scorers with 26 points and he added seven assists. Mike McDevitt (Lisbon) and Ian Pfouts added 12 points each, and McDevitt had eight rebounds.

WOMEN

Hiram 69, Wooster 62

WOOSTER — Alex Dallas had 22 points and eight rebounds to lead Hiram (4-17, 2-11) in a North Coast Athletic Conference game. Stephanie Zunic (Canfield) and Ashley Drum added 14 points each for the Terriers, who led 29-26 at halftime. Kaitlin Krister led Wooster (6-16, 3-10) with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Geneva 60, Waynesburg 41

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — Allyson Clarke scored 16 points and Megan Hartwig and Rachel Barry added 13 apiece as the Golden Tornadoes improved to 19-3. Clarke also had 12 rebounds, and Michawn Rich dished out five assists. Elisa Jones led Waynesburg (1-21) with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Marquis Demniak also scored 12 points, but the rest of the Waynesburg team combined for just 17 points and 5-for-22 shooting.

Saint Vincent 59, Thiel 57

GREENVILLE, Pa. — Kathy Bianco’s layup with 1:05 remaining gave Saint Vincent a 58-56 lead, and the teams could only trade free throws down the stretch. Laura Klimchock scored 19 points for Saint Vincent (8-14) and Maria Baroffio added 10. Thiel (7-14) was led by Jasmin Kones, with 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Jena Cook, with 10 points. Catie Sieber added nine points and 11 rebounds. Jones missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Westminster 81, Chatham 70

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Emilee Ackerman scored 33 points, making 10-of-19 shots and 13-of-14 free throws, to lead Westminster (13-9). Teresa Marszalek added 15 points and eight rebounds for the Titans, who led 45-36 at halftime. Kayla Hilko scored 39 points to lead Chatham (8-13).

Bethany 68, Grove City 60

BETHANY, W. Va. — Kelly Goode scored 16 points to lead Bethany, which pulled away from a 28-26 halftime lead. Renee Brandenburg added 13 points for the Bison (13-9, 8-3 PAC), while Kaitlyn McCormick scored 12. Tara Harris had nine rebounds and Caelyn DiSanti six assists. Grove City (8-14, 3-9) was led by Christine Slater’s 16 points and 15 rebounds. Katy McCready added 12 points.

Edinboro 58, Slippery Rock 54

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Edinboro scored the final four points of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West game. Haley Gaidosh led The Rock with 12 points and eight rebounds, while Nikki Presto added 10 points and eight rebounds. Amanda Nero (Lowellville) finished with six assists for Slippery Rock (7-16, 1-7).
