Ohio Governor Ted Strickland (D-Lisbon)

COLUMBUS (AP) — Gov. Ted Strickland thinks that state agency regulations are rife with bureaucratic double-talk and that some aren’t needed at all.

He’s ordering state agencies to review their rules and rewrite the ones that sound like gibberish and rid themselves of those that aren’t necessary.

Strickland’s decision comes in an executive order issued Tuesday. It says all executive agencies should consider whether their regulations make Ohio a more or less attractive place to do business.
