Fundraiser set Thursday for Salem teen’s bathroom

BOARDMAN — A local restaurant will help a Salem youth on Valentine’s Day. Donations to help remodel a bathroom for Andrew Shasteen, 15, of Salem.

The Chuck E. Cheese on U.S. Route 224 will donate some proceeds to help the fund from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Customers must mention Andrew’s fund, and the shop will donate 15 percent of those sales to the fund. Andrew has cerebral palsy, and uses a wheelchair. He needs a larger bathroom.

Donations can also be made at any Huntington Bank. Funds should be earmarked for Andrew’s Bathroom Fund.
