Former classmates plan get-togethers

• Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1944 will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Monday at DeMarco’s Restaurant on Route 616. All are welcome, and no reservations are needed.

• Champion Alumni Association will hold an alumni dinner Oct. 11 at the Fireplace Room in DiVieste’s Banquet Center, 754 N. River Road, Warren. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and dinner will be at 7. Tickets will be $22.50 per person, and seating is limited to the first 325. For tickets, send a check or money order, payable to the Champion Alumni Association, c/o Stan Petrick, 1139 Townline Road, Bristolville, OH 44402. For information, call him at (330) 646-1555. The event is open to anyone who attended Champion schools and does not replace individual class reunions.

X South High Alumni Association will meet at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at Denny’s on Boardman-Canfield Road. Members are asked to note the new meeting time. All alumni are welcome.
