Massie-Wilmer wedding to be in South Carolina

X CANFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. John J. Massie, 3860 Villa Rosa Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter Christie Massie, 2512 Monument Ave., Richmond, Va., and Renny Wilmer, also of Richmond, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Wilmer IV, 2218 N. Kensington St., Arlington, Va.

Invitations will be issued for the wedding the couple have planned for 4:30 p.m. April 19 at St. John Lutheran Church and for their evening reception at Charleston Place, both in Charleston, S.C.

Miss Massie received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio University at Athens. She is director of retail sales with Pepsi Bottling Group in Richmond.

Mr. Wilmer is a district manager with Phillip Morris USA in Richmond. He graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax Va., with a bachelor’s degree; from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va., with a master’s degree in education; and from Duke University in Durham, N.C., with a master’s in business administration.
