MADISON, Wis. — Marscilla Packer scored 23 points, Jantel Lavender added 22 and Ohio State held off Wisconsin. The upset-minded Badgers (11-11, 4-8 Big Ten) led for nearly the entire first half and much of the second, before Ohio State (18-6, 9-4) rattled off a 25-6 run to take a 56-50 lead. Packer, who was 4-of-7 from 3-point range, scored 16 points in the second half, including a four-point play to kick off the Buckeyes’ extended run. Jolene Anderson, who scored 20 points but missed all six of her 3-point attempts, including two before the final whistle sounded.
No. 3 North Carolina 75, Georgia Tech 61
ATLANTA — Rashanda McCants had 19 points, Erlana Larkins added 18 points for North Carolina. Despite committing 27 turnovers, North Carolina (22-0, 9-0 ACC) extended its winning streak to 12 against the Yellow Jackets, dating to 2002. The Tar Heels have won five in a row since losing at No. 1 Connecticut on Jan. 21. Georgia Tech (18-6, 5-5) is off to its best start in 30 years but has struggled against the elite teams in its conference — the Yellow Jackets have lost all five against Top 25 teams. Wearing pink uniforms to raise breast cancer awareness, the Yellow Jackets gave the Tar Heels a tougher time than they did in a 21-point loss in Chapel Hill on Jan. 5. Janie Mitchell had a team-high 22 points.

BATON ROUGE, La. — Sylvia Fowles had 19 points and 15 rebounds to help the Lady Tigers stretch their winning streak to 11 games. LSU built double-digit margins on several occasions, but Tasha Humphrey, who had 17 points and 11 rebounds, helped Georgia make several pushes to keep the game close late. Quianna Chaney and RaShonta LeBlanc each scored 14 points for LSU (20-3, 9-0 SEC). Angel Robinson had 14 points and 12 rebounds for Georgia (17-7, 4-5), which has lost four of five games and now is in danger of sliding out of the Top 25.

DURHAM, N.C. — Carrem Gay scored a game-high 15 points, and the Blue Devils opened with a 12-0 run while holding Wake Forest to its lowest offensive output of the season. Duke (18-6, 7-2 ACC) held Wake Forest scoreless for more than 7 minutes. Gay had two baskets and an assist on Abby Waner’s 3-pointer to spark the run. The Demon Deacons (14-12, 1-10) turned over the ball on three of their first four possessions and missed their first 10 shots from the floor before Courteney Morris ended the drought with a 3-pointer with 12:42 remaining in the first half.

NORFOLK, Va. — Shahida Williams had 18 points and 13 rebounds for Old Dominion. Williams had seven defensive boards and six offensive rebounds as Old Dominion never trailed after the 13:33 mark in the first half and led by as many as 27 points. T.J. Jordan scored 20 points for Old Dominion (20-3, 11-0 Colonial Athletic Association), and Tiffany Green had 16. William & Mary (11-12, 5-6) was led by Devin James with 16 points and Kyra Kaylor with 15.

WASHINGTON — Jessica Adair scored 27 points to lead the Colonials to their most lopsided conference win of the season. Kim Beck added 18 points, Antelia Parrish 12 and Sarah-Jo Lawrence 10 for George Washington (19-4, 7-1 Atlantic 10). Brittani Shells scored 21 points for Richmond (11-12, 4-4), and Danielle Bell had 13.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Tulyah Gaines scored 13 points, and the Irish held Pittsburgh to 31 percent shooting to win for the 17th time in 18 games against the Panthers. Lindsay Schrader added 12 points for the Irish (18-5, 6-3 Big East).

LINCOLN, Neb. — Andrea Riley scored 24 points, Shaunte Smith added 20 and Oklahoma State followed up its win over fifth-ranked Baylor. Taylor Hardeman scored 14 points, Maria Cordero had 12, and Danielle Green and Kristin Hernandez added 10 each for Oklahoma State (19-3, 7-2).

LARAMIE, Wyo. — Jodi Bolerjack scored 17 points and Justyna Podziemska added 16 for Wyoming. Jessica Kielpinski led New Mexico (12-10, 4-5) with a career-high 13 points.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Freshman guard Erica Morrow scored a season-high 24 points and Fantasia Goodwin had nine points and 14 rebounds for the Orange (18-4, 6-3 Big East). Krystal Ellis led Marquette with 16 points but had an awful game shooting, going 5-for-19 and 2-for-11 on 3s.

CHICAGO — Angel McCoughtry had 41 points and nine rebounds for Louisville. Candyce Bingham had 16 points for Louisville (16-7, 5-5 Big East). Deirdre Naughton led the Blue Demons (16-7, 5-5) with 22 points and Allie Quigley had 18 points.
