Route 7 in Hubbard Township to reopen shortly

HUBBARD — A low-hanging telephone line forced the closing of state Route 7 between Chestnut Ridge Road and Stewart Sharon Road early this morning.

The road was closed at 2:40 a.m., according to Michael Dolhancryk, director of the Trumbull County 911 center. Trucks were advised to use U.S. Route 62 to state Route 82 or Interstate 80.

Ameritech was repairing the damage at about 10:30 a.m. today. The problem is expected to be fixed shortly.
