Castronovas mark golden anniversary with celebration

X CANFIELD — Mike and Anita Castronova, 10 Stratford Green, Canfield, formerly of McDonald, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 28 with a party at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church hall in Youngstown.

Invitations were extended for the 6 p.m. celebration, which was hosted by the couple’s children, Patrick (Vicki) Castronova of Austintown; Judy Castronova of Hubbard; Jody (Carmen) Cicero of Niles; Michael (Angela) Castronova of Raleigh, N.C.; Anthony (Becky) Castronova of Lima; Dini (Vince) Ricchiuti of Canfield; and Dante (Jennifer) Castronova of Canfield. Ten grandchildren round out the family.

Mr. Castronova and the former Anita Pauline were married Dec. 28, 1957, at St. Ann Church in Youngstown.

Mrs. Castronova is a housewife, and Mr. Castronova retired as a clerk after 34 years with the U.S. Postal Service in Youngstown. He also retired as a bus driver for McDonald schools after 13 years. The couple are members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
