Here are three major projects resident can look for soon.

The Ramada Inn will soon be torn down to make way for two businesses on the property. Officials will not say what two businesses are coming but have said they are major retailers.

The former Kmart building on Belmont Avenue will soon be torn down. There are no immediate plans for the property, but officials said there is heavy interest in the property.

Buildings in the Liberty Plaza are being torn down to make way for a Wal-Mart Supercenter. The store is slated to open at the end of the year or in early 2009.
