X Northeast Homeowners and Concerned Citizens Association will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Price Memorial A.M.E. Church, 920 Dryden Ave., Youngstown. The guest speaker will be Monica Hoskins of the American Insurance Agency, who will discuss home-owners and life insurance. Information will be presented on grant applications for The Raymond John Wean Foundation and the Youngstown Community Development Agency. X Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 at St. Charles Church Ministry Building, 7325 Westview Drive, Boardman. Sue Bell and Janet Griffin will present a slide program on “Exploring Wales.” The Computer Interest Group will meet at 6.
SUPPORT GROUPS
X Catholic Charities Regional Agency and the Ursuline Education Center will co-sponsor monthly grief support group meetings on the last Friday of each month at the Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road. The next meeting will be from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 29. Sister Pauline Dalpe will be the program facilitator, and there will be soup and salad. A donation of $1 will be accepted for the support group. X Fred Childress Greater Mahoning Valley Parkinson’s Support Group will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road. Hosts will be Dutch and Alice Ann Flack. The program will be “Sharing and Caring.” Also, $10 dues per family for 2008 are being collected.
