TMH leader heading to Tennessee

WARREN — The president and CEO of Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital has accepted a position at a hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Kevin Spiegel will become CEO of Methodist University Hospital. It is a 693-bed hospital that is an academic medical center and the principal teaching hospital of the University of Tennessee School of Medicine. His last day at TMH is March 31.

“This new role gives me the opportunity to lead an academic, faith-based organization that educates the next generation of physicians and healthcare leaders – one of the most important contributions a hospital can make to the nation’s healthcare system,” Spiegel said in a letter Thursday to TMH personnel.

He served as TMH CEO for 4 1/2 years.
