Youth charged in dad’s burglary
BOARDMAN — Police have charged a 16-year-old East Parkside Drive boy with helping to participate in a Saturday burglary at his father’s home.
Police charged the boy with complicity to aggravated burglary.
The boy told police during questioning that he spoke to one the men who was charged in the aggravated burglary at the East Parkside home before the crime. The teen told Richard Williams, 20, of Toledo, that he and his parents wouldn’t be home at that time.
The boy is related to Richard Williams. Williams, his brother, Christopher Williams, 19, and Lennon Burgess, 18, also of Toledo, were all charged with aggravated burglary and receiving stolen property.
A 17-year-old girl who lives at the house arrived home to find an unfamiliar car in the driveway and called police.
The 16-year-old boy also admitted to police that he had a conversation with Richard Williams shortly before the burglary and described the residence.
The three are accused of taking guns from the home.
The boy is lodged in Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center in Youngstown.
