Crash victim, 21, dies of injures

MERCER, Pa. — A Grove City woman injured in a one-car accident on Pa. Route 208 in Pine Township has died of her injuries. Alison Como, 21, died of blunt force trauma to the trunk, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office. Her death was ruled accidental. Pennsylvania State police said Como was driving on Pa. Route 208 shortly after 12 a.m. Sunday when her car slid of the roadway and struck a porch. She was first taken to Grove City Medical Center and was later transferred to Allegheny General where she died at 12:17 p.m. Monday, according to the medical examiner’s office. A passenger in her car wasn’t injured.
