CANFIELD

Jan. 28

Theft: A 41-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested for passing bad checks at Fairway Ford, 366 W. Main St. on Nov. 17.

Jan. 30

Charged: A Boardman woman was charged with obstructing official business when she took a prescription bottle and emptied it and threw away the bottle in the trash. She admitted she had switched urine with someone else in case she was tested because she had used cocaine Jan. 28 and heroin Jan. 29.

Jan. 31

Burglary: Three Youngstown men were arrested on burglary and complicity charges in a burglary at a home in the 400 block of Bradford Drive.

Feb. 1

Knife at school: Police charged a 16-year-old male student with possessing a deadly weapon at school for having a dinner knife with a four-and-a-half inch blade at Canfield High School, 100 Cardinal Drive.

Feb. 3

Drug charges: Police found marijuana and arrested a 34-year-old Austintown woman for drug abuse, obtaining, using and concealing drugs on West Main Street.

Jan. 28:

Criminal trespass: A woman was issued a summons for criminal trespassing at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: An ATM card and cash were stolen from a home in the 100 block of North Raccoon Road.

Lost or stolen firearm: A 9 mm blue Smith and Wesson in a black case was lost or stolen at an unknown location in Austintown.

Theft: A man and a woman were transported to jail on a warrant after stealing at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Jan. 29

Fraud: A woman was using the victim’s Social Security Number at a home in the 1000 block of Elvira Court.

Theft: A 1998 Cargomate trailer was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.

Jan. 30:

Assault: Two victims were assaulted by two unknown suspects at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: 14 movies were stolen from Hollywood Video, 5225 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: A man was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at an apartment at Compass West apartments.

Burglary: At an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: Food was taken at Belleria Pizza, 3460 S. Meridian Road.

Theft: A Sony CD player and compact discs were stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Burglary: A television was taken from a home in the 1000 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Jan. 31

Theft: $400 was stolen from a purse at Austinwoods, 4780 Kirk Road.

Theft: $355 in clothing was stolen by a boy who was arrested at Wal-Mart.

Theft: Two girls were arrested for theft at Wal-Mart.

Feb. 1

Theft: A purse was stolen from an unlocked car at Dollar General, 1735 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: $30.25 in fuel was stolen from McQuaid’s, 702 N. Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: A woman is accused in an incident in the 1000 block of Fountain Square apartments.

Theft: A purse was stolen from a locker at the Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave.

Feb. 2

Dumping complaint: Illegal dumping of trash was reported at Arby’s, 4440 Mahoning Ave.

Lost or stolen wallet: A wallet was lost or stolen in the men’s restroom at Tabernacle Church, 2432 S. Raccoon Road.

Feb. 3

Drug offense: A 17 year-old Girard boy was arrested at Mahoning Avenue and Idaho Road for possession of marijuana.

Theft: Four Dart projectiles were stolen from an auto at Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Vandalism: A building under construction was damaged in the 1000 block of South Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: Ice was thrown through the window at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Theft: Bottles of liquor were stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave., by a white female driving a gray Lincoln.

Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from an auto in the 1000 block of Laurie Drive.
