$1,000 worth of copper wire stolen from New Wilmington, Pa., firm

NEW WILMINGTON — Thieves stole $1,000 worth of insulated copper wire from the Dairy Farmers of America Co., 925 Pa. Route 18, state police in New Castle report.

Burglars broke into a storage building that contained tools and equipment at 2 a.m. Sunday. An investigation is continuing, police said.
