Humes 30th anniversary celebrated at wedding rehearsal and reception

YOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Michael Humes of Youngstown celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary by renewing their nuptial vows Dec. 28 during the wedding rehearsal for their daughter, Becky Humes, and Nick Lonardo, both of Columbus.

On Dec. 29, Mr. and Mrs. Humes joined family and friends at the Lonardos’ reception at the Edward W. Powers Auditorium to celebrate both the anniversary and wedding.

Invitations for the events were issued by Becky and her sisters, Kara Bethany of Medina and Julie Humes of Columbus. There is one grandchild in the family.

Mr. Humes and the former Peggy Deibel were married Dec. 29, 1977, at St. Patrick Church, where they are members.

Mr. Humes is employed in sales with Fyda Freightliner in Austintown. Mrs. Humes is a homemaker. She is the secretary and her husband is vice president of Youngstown Parrot Head Club.
