X YOUNGSTOWN —Becky Humes, a daughter of Mike and Peggy Humes of Youngstown, and Nick Lonardo, a son of Howard Lonardo of Youngstown and Michele Lonardo of Girard, were married Dec. 29 during a 2 p.m. ceremony officiated by the Rev. Ed Noga at St. Patrick Church, where her parents were married on that date 30 years ago.

After a reception at the Edward W. Powers Auditorium, the Lonardos left for a honeymoon in Aruba. They live in Columbus.

The bride wore a strapless gown of diamond-white lace over satin embellished with crystals and pearls. A satin sash at the empire waistline formed streamers that extended from the corset back down the A-line skirt.

Wearing black gowns were the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Julie Humes, and the bridesmaids, Kara Bethany, also her sister, and Jackie Heydle.

Best man was Alex Bayer, and groomsmen were Mike, Rob and Tom Lonardo, brothers of the groom; Scott Lathom; and Tim Gallagher.

The bride earned bachelor’s degrees in visual communication and graphic design at Ohio University, where she is pursuing a master’s in journalism. She is a graphic design and public relations coordinator with Music in the Air, Columbus Recreation and Parks Department in Columbus. The groom, a call-center supervisor with InfoCision Management Corp. in Columbus, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Youngstown State University.
