Westminster 89, Thomas More 80

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Senior Craig Hannon (New Castle, Union) scored 31 points to lead Westminster past Thomas More. Hannon moved into third place on the Titans’ all-time scoring list with 1,608 points. David Richards added 26 for the Titans (5-15, 3-5 PAC).

Heidelberg 68, Mount Union 50

TIFFIN — Heidelberg blew open a close game in the second half. Leading just 30-28 at halftime, Heidelberg outscored the Raiders 38-22 in the second half. Mt. Union (6-13, 3-9 OAC) was led by Chris Crawford with 11 points, while Brian Schmidt had 21 points and 17 rebounds for Heidelberg.

Grove City 62, Washington & Jefferson 53

GROVE CITY, Pa. — Grove City (13-7, 6-2 PAC) rallied in the second half to pull past Washington & Jefferson. Ryan Gerber led the Wolverines with 17 points while Andy O’Keefe added 14 and Joe McCoy had 11. The Wolverines outscored W&J 20-4 over the final 5:15 of the contest.

Slippery Rock 74, Shippensburg 72

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Freshman Itay Levy hit a 3-point shot with 13 seconds remaining to give the Rock the win over Shippensburg. Slippery Rock (4-15, 2-3 PSAC-W) was led by Erroll Robinson with 17 points and Cory Somerville with 15. Derrick Graff scored 32 points to lead Shippensburg (6-16, 0-6).

Wittenberg 91, Hiram 85

HIRAM — Hiram put on a big second half rally, but it wasn’t enough against Wittenberg. The Terriers (7-12, 4-6 NCAC) trailed 48-30 at halftime before outscoring the Tigers 55-43 in the second half. Mike McDevitt set a new Hiram single game record with 43 points including 15-of-22 from the field, 6-of-9 from 3-point range and 7-for-7 from the foul line. He also had 10 rebounds.

WOMEN

Thomas More 69, Westminster 56

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Unbeaten and fifth-ranked (Division II) Thomas More led from start to finish against Westminster. Thomas More (19-0, 10-0 PAC) had four players in double figures led by Tandrea Sellers with 15. Westminster (11-8, 4-5) was led by Emilee Ackerman with 17 and Gina Brunetti (Mooney) with 14.

Washington & Jefferson 68, Grove City 35

GROVE CITY, Pa. — Grove City shot just 21 percent from the field and 17 percent from 3-point range in falling to W&J. Krista Beechy had 11 points to lead the Wolverines (8-11, 3-6 PAC). Maggie Gibson had 15 points for W&J (14-5, 7-2).

Mount Union 48, Heidelberg 32

ALLIANCE — Mt. Union’s defense held Heidelberg to just 13 first half points and 19 in the second half. The Raiders (8-11, 5-7 OAC) were led by Katie Crider with 11 points. Mount Union shot 44.2 percent from the field and outrebounded Heidelberg (9-10, 4-8) 45-28.

Shippensburg 74, Slippery Rock 58

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Shippensburg pulled away in the final 13 minutes, outscoring The Rock 38-24 over that span to hand Slippery Rock its third straight loss. Sophomore Haley Gaidosh led The Rock (7-13, 1-4 PSAC-W) with 15 points, while Amanda Nero (Lowellville) added 13.

Chatham 74, Thiel 71

SQUIRREL HILL, Pa. — Thiel couldn’t hold a 34-25 halftime lead against Chatham. The Tomcats (7-11, 4-6 PAC) were led by Amber Bodrick (Mooney), who moved into second place in the school’s all-time scoring list. Her 19 point, 13 rebound game gives her 1,388 career points. Thiel’s career leader is Tricia Kosenina, who finished her career in 1993 with 2,086 points.

Denison 62, Hiram 40

GRANVILLE — Hiram (3-14, 1-8 NCAC) failed to put a player in double figures against Denison. The Terriers trailed only 29-25 at halftime, but were outscored 33-15 in the second half. Denison (11-8, 7-3) was led by Carolyn Simpson with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Geneva 75, Bethany 58

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — Allyson Clarke tossed in 29 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead Geneva past Bethany. Michawn Rich added 19 points for the Tornadoes (16-3). Bethany (10-9) was led by Tara Harris with 18 points.

Shawnee State 80, Walsh 45

PORTSMOUTH — No. 9-ranked Shawnee State (20-2, 8-0 AMC) shot 54 percent (28-of-52) and put four players in double figures. Jennifer Grandy scored 15 points to lead the way, while Shannon Leasure and Mallory Albers added 13 apiece. Alison Meyer finished with 10 points. Walsh (9-12, 2-6) was led by Leah Seaman with 12 points and Brittani Maddox with six rebounds.

Indiana (Pa.) 65, California (Pa.) 57, OT

CALIFORNIA, Pa. — Lindsay Johnson (Springfield) had six points and eight rebounds for California (17-3, 4-1 PSAC-W).
