Yo-Mah-O fundraiser will benefit scholarship fund

BOARDMAN — Yo-Mah-O Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals will hold its 9th Annual Reverse Raffle Scholarship Fundraising Dinner on Feb. 10 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center, 7440 South Ave.

A social hour will begin at 4 p.m., and a buffet dinner will follow at 5. The theme for this year’s event will be “Rock ’N’ Roll Reverse Raffle.”

More than $4,000 in cash prizes will be given away, and there will be a Chinese auction, a 50-50 raffle and a mini-board raffle.

Tickets for the reverse raffle cost $100 each, and additional dinner-only tickets cost $25. Only 100 raffle tickets are sold, and they must be purchased in advance by calling (330) 652-1784. Deadline to buy tickets is Tuesday. None will be sold at the door.

Proceeds will benefit the chapter’s scholarship fund, which aids local area business students.

Christine Simone and Laura Malloy are the event co-chairwomen, and they’re being assisted by Marlene Dailey, Tracy Goad, Bonnie Filipovich, Carol Riefler, Chris Bidwell, Milissa Ferraro-Gahagan, Kim Sheward, Lynn Romeo and Roseann Cullen.
