X CONNEAUT LAKE — Robin Glove became the bride of Ian Mara in a lakeside ceremony Aug. 11 at Iroquois Boating and Fishing Club.
Ronald and Claire Glove, 8315 Gibson Road, Canfield, are the parents of the bride, and the groom’s parents are Wayne and Dorothy Mara, 9839 Campbell Drive, Kensington, Md.
The Rev. Dr. George Lee officiated at the 3:30 p.m. outdoor wedding, and a reception at the boating club followed.
The bride’s strapless gown was fashioned of patterned dupioni silk and featured a satin sash and tails. Wearing pool-blue dresses were maid of honor Kirsten Glove, sister of the bride, and bridesmaids Caitlin Mara, sister of the groom; Carly Staebler; Bethann Chordas; and Erin Getty. Genna and Aly Kindelberger, cousins of the bride, were flower girls.
John Vogel was best man, and groomsmen were Matthew Glove, brother of the bride; Dan Marcus; Matt Killam; and William Eadie. The bride’s cousin, Chase Pantezzi, was ring bearer.
The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas, and they live at 58 W. Weber Road, Columbus.
The bride, who has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio, is a child welfare caseworker for Franklin County Children Services in Columbus.
The groom, also a Marietta College graduate, has a bachelor’s degree in English and is a free-lance writer.
