Pastor Bret Rizzo will present “Living Lent ... The Animals Tell the Story” for the Lenten programs at Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman. The programs are scheduled at noon and 6:30 p.m. Ash Wednesday, next week, and continue on Wednesdays through Lent, unless otherwise noted. A potluck supper is planned at 5:45 p.m. Ash Wednesday and then soup suppers will be held at 5:45 Wednesdays, Feb. 13-March 20. For information, call the church at (330) 758-5745.

Feb. 6, Ash Wednesday: Imposition of ashes and Holy Communion. Program will be “The Fox Tells of a Homeless Savior.”

Feb. 13: “The Donkey Tells of a Peaceful Savior.”

Feb. 20: “The Dove Tells of an Angry Savior.”

Feb. 27: “The Camel Tells of a Warning Savior.”

March 5: “The Hen Tells of a Grieving Savior.”

March 12: “The Vulture Tells of a Coming Savior.”

March 20, Maundy Thursday: “The Lamb Tells of a Forgiving Savior.” Worship with Holy Communion will be at 7 p.m.

March 23, Easter: “The Fish Tells of a Risen Savior. Services will be at 8:30, 9:450 and 11 a.m.
