The particulars

Here is the breakdown of the 29 specific charges against Michael Davis, who was indicted Thursday.

Counts 1 and 2: The aggravated murders of Carol and Jennifer Crawford, respectively, with mass murder and felony murder death-penalty specifications.

Counts 3 through 6: The aggravated murders of the children: Ranaisha, Jeannine and Alisha Crawford and Brandon Owens, respectively, with mass murder, felony murder and victim under age 13 death-penalty specifications.

Counts 7 through 10: Aggravated murder counts noting each child was under 13, with the same death-penalty specifications above.

Counts 11-29: Aggravated arson counts naming each of the deceased, plus five people who escaped the burning house and eight firefighters injured while fighting the blaze. The five who escaped were Julius Crawford, Carol’s son; Retia Crawford, Carol’s daughter; Demeka Wilson, Julius Crawford’s girlfriend; Ricky Williams, a neighbor; and Chris Taylor, a family friend. The eight injured firefighters were Capts. Anthony Carkido, Ray Sanchez and Terry Stephens, Lts. Dennis Detullio and Lisa Santiago, and firefighters John Carbon, Pat George and Jamie Goodlet.
