OSHP in Lisbon handles two Wednesday crashes
The Ohio State Highway Patrol Lisbon Post handled two crashes within minutes of each other Wednesday afternoon in Columbiana County.
At 2:02 p.m., troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on state Route 11 at state Route 344 in Fairfield Township.
Joy Bistarkey of Leetonia, was traveling westbound when a vehicle driven by Eugene Tomsky, also of Leetonia, traveling eastbound, lost control and hit her head-on, the patrol said. No information about injuries was available.
Troopers then responded to a two-vehicle accident with injuries on Westville Lake Road at U.S. Route 62 in Homeworth at 2:04 p.m. No further details were immediately available at press time.
