New Year’s Eve Celebrations: In light of America’s fiscal woes, we suspect many will scale back and party at home in front of the TV. Headlining the night is “Dick Clark’s Primetime New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2009” (10 p.m., ABC). It includes performances by, among others, the Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift, Lionel Richie and the Pussycat Dolls. If that’s not to your liking, “New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly” (10 p.m., NBC) will feature rappers T.I. and Ludacris, plus pop rocker Katy Perry. For the younger set, there’s “A Miley-Sized Surprise ... New Year’s Eve 2009” (8 p.m., MTV). Or check out “New Year’s Eve Live” (11 p.m. Fox), during which Robbie Knievel tries to jump his motorcycle over the fake volcano at the Mirage in Las Vegas.
