Descriptions of some of the inappropriate e-mails that Ohio Department of Transportation investigators say were sent by Robert Habern, whose job is to make sure ODOT vendors in the Lima division follow anti-discrimination laws:

A knock-knock joke featuring a negative racial joke and a caricature of Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential candidate when the e-mail was sent.

A joke about a man kissing a man.

A joke about a woman visiting her gynecologist.

An e-mail with video about incest, joking about “rednecks.”

A joke about marriage that is derogatory to women.

A joke making fun of McDonald’s and Wal-Mart employees.
