Brookfield girls rally to win tournament, 41-36

BROOKFIELD — Ashley Swezey scored 13 points and Kodi Brenner added 10 to lead Brookfield past Columbiana 41-36 in Tuesday’s championship game of the Brookfield Holiday Tournament.

Paige Wallace had four points and four rebounds for the Warriors (5-4), which outscored the Clippers 14-9 in the fourth quarter.

Katie Witmer scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds for Columbiana (6-3).

Crestview 58, Leetonia 38

LEETONIA — Senior Chelsea Bowker had 32 points and 12 rebounds to lead Crestview (8-2), which took a 31-20 halftime lead. Marissa Newbauer added 13 points, five steals and three assists.

Lynsie Davis scored 16 points to lead the Bears while Clarissa Perkins had nine rebounds.
