COLUMBUS (AP) — The two women at the center of the scandal in former attorney general Marc Dann’s office have been cleared of accusations they harassed co-workers.

The AG’s office decided last week after a six-month investigation that the behavior of Cindy Stankoski and Vanessa Stout didn’t constitute harassment.

The women’s sexual harassment complaint against a top Dann aide led to the unraveling of the office and Dann’s resignation in May.

Co-workers Amanda Saxton and Erica Haske filed complaints in June accusing Stankoski and Stout of trying to intimidate them. Saxton and Haske had provided investigators with a different take on what happened in the attorney general’s office.

Stout resigned from the office Dec. 19 and Stankoski is out on indefinite medical leave.
