Monday's Best Bets on TV

“The Decider” (5 p.m., MSNBC): It’s not just talk for MSNBC’s Chris Matthews this week. His “Hardball” airs a documentary, “The Decider,” that takes a probing look at the eight years of the Bush administration as it comes to a close. The film focuses on what will probably be looked back upon as the key decision of Bush’s presidency — to go to war in Iraq. It will be shown at 5 p.m. and rerun two hours later.

“Le Cirque: A Table in Heaven” (8 p.m., HBO): Reservations, please. HBO’s “Le Cirque: A Table in Heaven” is a documentary that follows Sirio Maccioni and his three sons from the time the famed New York City restaurant shut down in 2004 to its reopening in Bloomberg Towers two years later.

“The Tunnel Dwellers of New York” (9 p.m., Sundance): New York City’s underground life is explored in “The Tunnel Dwellers of New York,” a film that will get its U.S. television premiere on the Sundance Channel. Doctumentarian Chantal Lasbats explores a fascinating world of some 18 levels of tunnels and 468 open or abandoned subway stations. Among those we meet are Carlos, who has added paint and appliances to a submarine-like cubicle. It premieres at 9 p.m., and is rerun at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

“Bromance” (9 p.m., MTV): Make way for “Bromance. It’s a potential train-wreck series in which nine guys compete to be part of Brody Jenner’s entourage.

“The 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs” (10 p.m., VH1): “The 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs” is a five-night countdown of the most awesome guitar-scorching, amp-blowing, head-banging jams in rock history — from AC/DC to Led Zeppelin.
