New Castle budget meetings Tuesday

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — City council has scheduled several special sessions for Tuesday to discuss and act on a spending plan for next year.

Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. for a budget workshop and at 7 p.m. to vote on the proposed 2009 budget and accompanying ordinances.

The sessions will be conducted in council chambers at the city building, 230 N. Jefferson St.
