• YOUNGSTOWN — Natisha Angel Vega and Jeff Phifer IV were married at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at Third Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Morris W. Lee. A reception followed at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles.

The bride’s strapless gown was trimmed with embroidery, crystal beading and sequins.

Her honor attendant was Jennifer Petrey, and bridesmaids included her sisters, Natalie Vega and Nina Mendez; her cousin, Gina Mendez; the groom’s sister, Noni Howell; his cousins A’Ja Glover and Jamelia Mauzy; and Maria Rosario. The bride’s niece, Victoria Vega, was junior bridesmaid, and flower girl was Mariah Angel Ricciardi, the bride’s daughter.

Best man was the groom’s cousin, Chris London III, and groomsmen were Shaquan Wainwright, Markus Murphy, Julius Sims, Kwame Codjoe, Lance Gatti and the groom’s cousin, Jeff Goggans. Tyler Petrey was the junior groomsman, and the bride’s nephew, Jayden Grant, was ring bearer.

The daughter of the late Marilyn Torres is a graduate of Mercy College of Northwest Ohio, where she earned a degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse in intensive care at St. Elizabeth Boardman Campus.

The son of Jeff Phifer III of Youngstown and Gloria Phifer of Austintown earned an associate degree at Trumbull Business College in Warren. He is a surgery patient care technician at St. Elizabeth Health Center and attends Kent State University.
