Baby Jesus stolen from Nativity display

MERCER, Pa. (AP) — Baby Jesus has been stolen for the second year in a row from a Nativity display in the yard of a western Pennsylvania family.

Walter Mittelstadt says the figurine was stolen sometime Sunday morning from his home in Sandy Creek Township in Mercer County.

Mittelstadt says he’s “totally ticked off” because the family’s plastic Jesus figure was stolen last year and the family bought a new one to display this Christmas.

He says vandals have been messing with his Christmas display for years.

Mittelstadt says they have done everything from cutting up lights to slicing balloon figures.
