FOOD SALES AND DINNERS


SATURDAY

• American Legion Post 290, state Route 14, Columbiana, will have a steak fry from 5 to 8 p.m. The cost is $14 per person, and meals include baked potato, salad and coffee or tea. Karaoke will be from 9 p.m. to midnight.

• North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, will sponsor a breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. The all-you-can-eat meal will feature eggs, pancakes, French toast, potatoes, sausage, breakfast rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and onions, juice and coffee. • Salem Masonic Temple, 788 E. State St., will sponsor an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 10 a.m. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children 2 to 10 and free for those under 2. Featured will be pancakes, scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage, bacon, homemade sausage gravy, biscuits, home fries, toast, fruit cocktail, coffee, orange juice and tea. Carryouts will be available. There is a handicapped-accessible elevator.

UPCOMING

• Niles First United Methodist Church, 608 N. Crandon Ave., will host a baked potato and salad luncheon from noon to 3 p.m. Jan. 4. The event is sponsored by the First UMC Relay for Life team. Tickets cost $5 per person or $15 per family. Children under 5 eat free.

• Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman Poland Road, will have takeout dinners available from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out) on Jan. 8. The cost is $6. No need to get out of the car. Just drive to the front of the church, and your meal of baked stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans will be ready.

• Pricetown Methodist Church, 4640 Pritchard-Ohltown Road, Newton Falls, will serve homecooked suppers from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 14. Meals will include a variety of soups, sandwiches, salads and desserts. The cost for each meal is $7 for adults, $3.50 for children 6 to 12 and free for those under 5. Carryouts will be available.

• Southington American Legion Post 751 will serve breakfasts of all-you-can eat pancakes and sausage or biscuits and gravy from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 4 at the post, 3145 Warren-Burton Road, Southington. The donation is $5.50 for adults and $3 for children 5 to 12. Those 4 and under eat free. The breakfasts will be available the first and third Sunday of each month through April.

• A Swiss steak dinner will be served from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 3 at Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren-Sharon Road. The menu will include mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, coleslaw, applesauce, bread and butter, homemade dessert and beverage. Takeout orders will be available. Cost is $7.50 for adults, $4 for children 5 to 12 and free for those 4 and under. The facility is handicapped accessible.
