Multiple vehicles involved in crash

BEAVER — Officers from three townships were called to the scene of a car accident on Market Street in Beaver Township on Tuesday night.

Police dispatchers said multiple vehicles were involved in the accident, which occurred near the Phantom Fireworks on Market Street.

Icy roads were believed to be the cause of the collision, which trapped the occupants of at least one vehicle and blocked the street.

Few details have been released, but police on the scene said at least four passengers were taken to the hospital.
